Micro Movies
Micro movies are 3-7 minute short films that illustrate a biblical concept. Much like the parables that Jesus used, these micro movies will present biblical teaching in an understandable and memorable format. Some of these films take a humorous approach while others are much more poignant in their presentation. Currently we are developing five micro movies that deal with a Christian's duty to share the Gospel, the futility of relying on our own righteousness, and what it means to truly suffer for the cause of Christ. We hope that these films can be used in Bible studies, sermons, and classrooms to illustrate the message being delivered. Please keep this department of the ministry in your prayers; specifically that we will follow the Lord's guidance in choosing subject matter and for provision of equipment, properties, and crew.
Documentaries
2017 marked the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. Luther, an Augustinian monk and professor, sought to challenge the abuses of the established church against the people. The simple tap-tap-tap of a tack hammer 500 years ago reverberates loudly through the Church still today. Our goal is to present the question: "What does that day, 500 years ago have to do with me?" Most Christians have some vague romantic idea of what happened, but have never viewed the occurrence in a way that shows the historicity of the incident nor the changes it brought to the world. Please pray as the film has been submitted to various film festivals.
Preaching & Teaching
There is a great need for quality biblical teaching and preaching programs and Refuge Media is working with both national and local preachers and teachers to develop Bible-based programming. These programs run the gamut from Bible studies to sermons and instruction for youth pastors. These videos will be the backbone of Refuge Media. We ask that you pray for God's provision in godly teachers as well as studio space and equipment.
We are currently in production on a series of videos on the spirit world by Dr. Gregg Patten. Dr. Patten, the host of Hello World, a daily radio news program, is also a pastor who has worked extensively in the ministry of deliverance. He brings an experienced biblical perspective to the often misunderstood and dismissed area of demonic activity and how it affects believers. Dr. Patten worked hard to film 36 episodes of Invisible War on the Saints in February, 2018. Pray for us as we prepare to bring this topic some much needed light and understanding.

Bible Buddies TV
Bible Buddies is a radio program for children of all ages on WHCB 91.5fm hosted by Matthew Hill. Mr. Matthew started the program in 2000 and has met many Bible Buddies along the way. In 2017, Bible Buddies Radio, a 24-hour-a-day, 7-days-a-week online radio station began streaming all over the world. Now you can listen to Bible Buddies around the clock whether you're in Des Moines, Iowa or Siguatepeque, Honduras. At Refuge Media, we're excited to announce the production of Bible Buddies TV! While we've been busy shooting some of the special segments already, we have a mammoth task ahead of us as we go through the stages of pre-production. Scripts must be written, sets and props designed and built, and cast selected. Pray for the Lord's guidance and provision on this project.
