Consider the Ant Now Available On DVD!
Two Consider the Ant specials have been produced on DVD. These titles are Bug-Out Bags vol.1: The Basics and Security vol. 1: Home Defense. In these specials, host and emergency preparedness consultant Dale Pike covers the basics two of the most popular subjects in preparedness. You can obtain your own copies at Refuge Store.
Consider the Ant to be Produced in TV Format
Consider the Ant will soon be produced in a TV format. We have found a host and are currently gathering experts in various forms of emergency preparedness. We found a lot of interest in the series at National Religious Broadcasters convention and are excited to begin the prep work of filming this series. We are working on a pilot about churches prepping for disasters in their communities. We would love to hear any ideas you might have about future topics.
Emergency Preparedness from a biblical view
The Bible is full of instances of God's people preparing for emergencies. Noah and Joseph are prime examples of men who obeyed God's command to prepare for specific disasters. There are plenty of general commands to prepare as well. A good place to start is the book of Proverbs. Look at Proverbs 21:20, 22:3 or 27:12 for some wisdom in this area. Consider the Ant is a series of instructional videos about emergency preparedness from a biblical point of view. While there is much fear mongering about preparing for emergencies, Consider the Ant reminds us of Paul's words to Timothy, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." -II Timothy 1:7
